Gregory Alan Isakov at Edgefield

Once in a full red moon, the old pals from Colorado roll through the Northwest and boy are we grateful. This past Sunday night, Gregory and Co rolled through outskirts of Portland and played one the best shows I've seen them play in my 14 years of covering their shows and even spending a little time on the road them years ago.

From the full moon rising on que at the end of their set, to getting to share the show with some of my best friends in Portland, to taking in one of the best folky sound baths I've been a part of, my heart is truly full, just like the moon was and the thousands of other hearts their taking in the night.

Thank you Gregory and crew for all the sweet music and memories along the way...the world is truly a more and more hopeful place because and folks like you!
