Time truly does fly when you're having fun and on the musical run.

This past weekend at Sisters Folk Fest running photography, tour support and even playing a little flute with Madeline Hawthorne and her timeless band ... dear road dogging friends Zach Jackson, Taylor Simms and Kevin Matthews...was nothing but a real time dream. It was an added bonus to have my dear friend Chrissy Lupo along adding to the tour support as well.

From the Showdown in Portland to Sisters Saloon, The Belfry, The Oliver Lemon Stage and Franklins Madeline and the crew stole hearts of both Festival goers and late night PDX concert goes alike. Somewhere in the midst of the weekends' magic, the crew even found time for a little camper jam thanks to folks at Live Music Besties and Christine at Thomson's Guitars.

We closed out the entire festival at Frankies with what the Mcee said was his favorite set of the entire weekend. What a compliment and what a way to wind down the musical journey We are grateful to Sisters Folk Fest and all the many musicians we got to share the Festival with.

Hang time with the bands Banshee Tree, Christina Vane and Joel Chad was an added bonus to our festival experience...so much love for those crews!

What a Rock Mountain Country Soul crew!

Enjoy a few of my photos from the weekend along with a little video magic of our closing song where we covered John Craigie's classic "I am California" ... Madeline does an insanely beautiful and haunting version of it. Thanks always to Madeline and the band for having me up to share a little fluty magic with the people. I am California & Cold Shoulder

to wind thing down the weekend!

Keep up with Madeline and her up coming shows at www.madelinehawthorne.com
