Madeline Hawthorne Debut @ Mississippi Studios

Such lovely moments photographing Madeline Hawthorne's " bucket list " set this past weekend at Mississippi Studios.

There's always a bit of extra magic to the show when getting to witness a friend live out one of their dreams in real time. So glad I was invited to tell the story in photographic still time.

I was also very grateful to get to photograph one of my own bucket list venues and one of Portlands most beloved places for gathering and music... thank you Mississippi Studios for all the musical magic you've brought to Portland over the years!

Usually when Madeline is on the road, she is accompanied by a cast and crew of Rocky Mountain ringers and lightning speed ramblers...

...but on this run, she was supporting Bob Scnider and flying solo as she workshops songs from a new album she's been working on with folks in Nashville.

She played a few tunes from the upcoming album and this one is set to be yet another true beauty of a record.
